ABOUT US

WHO ARE WE?

Dow Patient Care Association (DPCA) is a student-led, non-political, non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference. We are affiliated with Dow International Medical College and recognized by the Government of Sindh.

DPCA is the only Sindh Welfare Board registered student-run NGO in the province.

DPCA operates as a beacon of hope for patients in need. Our mission is simple yet impactful: to provide financial support to underprivileged patients at Dow University Hospital, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

Guided by a constitution crafted by the Dow Legal Department, and overseen by the DPCA Faculty Board and Sindh Social Services representatives, we maintain transparency and accountability through annual financial audits.

DPCA ensures that your funding – whether Zakat, Sadaqah or General Donations – makes the most monumental impact possible in the lives of our deserving patients.

DPCA’s Structure

| |

DPCA’s leadership is organized into a hierarchy starting with Supervising Administrators, Student Executives, Student Sub-Executives and Members. We also maintain an advisory board of past Executives willing to advise current leadership in matters.

As a democratic organization, we hold elections for Student Executives in which students of Dow International Medical College can run for leadership positions.
